The yourcharter.it platform is technically developed and maintained by Eduard Costin Udila, acting as technical contractor on behalf of Axel s.r.l. The developer does not independently control personal data processed through this Website.

Among the types of Personal Data that this Website collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Trackers; Usage Data; first name; last name; phone number; email address; account credentials; profile details; newsletter subscription data.

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Website. Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this Website is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Website to provide its services.

Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner.

Users may create a personal account (client area) to follow their charters, quotes and requests. For this purpose the Website processes the User's email address and a password — the password is stored exclusively as a cryptographic hash by the authentication service of our cloud platform provider and is never available in plain text — together with optional profile details (name, phone number) and the bookings and charter requests linked to the account.

This processing is necessary for the performance of the service requested by the User (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Account data is retained while the account is active; Users may request the closure of their account and the deletion of the associated data at any time by writing to the Owner.

Where the User subscribes to the newsletter — via the form in the Website footer or the optional checkbox at account registration — the Owner processes the User's email address, optional name and the subscription source, on the basis of the User's consent, to send occasional updates about itineraries, yachts and services.

Subscription data is processed until the User unsubscribes (by writing to the Owner); after unsubscription a minimal suppression record (the unsubscription date) is kept to honour the User's choice.

The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorised destruction of the Data. The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organisational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated.

The Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. Data is stored in a cloud database hosted within the European Union.

Depending on the User's location, data transfers may involve transferring the User's Data to a country other than their own.

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its Service, comply with its legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests, detect any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as the following: Analytics, Displaying content from external platforms, Contacting the User, and Managing contacts and sending messages.

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

Concierge briefs and contact messages are retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, after which they are deleted or anonymised unless a contract requires longer retention. Once the retention period expires, the right of access, erasure, rectification and portability cannot be enforced.

Account data is retained while the account remains active and is deleted or anonymised after a verified closure request. Newsletter subscription data is retained until the User unsubscribes, after which only a minimal suppression record is kept.

The Owner may process Personal Data if one of the following applies:

• Users have given their consent for one or more specific purposes.
• Provision of Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Owner is subject.
• Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner or by a third party (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The Owner does not sell personal data. Submissions may be accessible to certain types of persons involved in the operation of this Website (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.

Users may exercise the following rights, to the extent permitted by law:

• Withdraw consent at any time where consent was previously given.
• Object to processing where the legal basis is other than consent.
• Access their Data and obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing.
• Verify and seek rectification of inaccurate Data.
